Some raw materials are often not valued by suppliers due to the small amount of purchase, and many feed enterprises often purchase large raw materials at random.   And the stability of the product as the first requirement of feed quality, can not be overemphasized. How to ensure the stability of product quality? The author thinks, should proceed from the following respects.

  One is to look at the raw materials used by the supplier.

  As with feed enterprises, it is difficult to produce qualified feed raw materials if the suppliers use unqualified raw materials. Such as the variety, size and quality of the fish used in the production of fish meal; Quality of soybeans used in the production of soybean meal; Quality of rice bran used in the production of rice bran meal (cake); Quality of corn used in the production of DDGS and corn protein powder; The variety and quality of blood used in the production of plasma protein powder, etc. As a feed man with many years of working experience, many problems can be found by careful observation on the spot.

  Two should inspect production equipment and craft.

  Taking soybean meal as an example, the newly built oil processing plant usually has advanced technology and equipment. If the management level is up, the used soybean has no problem and the urease activity is often low. On the contrary, soybean meal produced by oil processing plants with early time of plant establishment, backward process and equipment and inadequate management is often unstable, and sometimes soybean meal will be raw.

  Third, we should examine the level of management.

  Many people ask, "How can we measure management level in such a short time?" In fact, to evaluate the management level of an enterprise, we should look at its sanitary conditions, especially the sanitary conditions of toilets, kitchens and workers' dormitories. If a company's toilets, kitchens and workers' dormitories are clean, it is generally well managed and its workshops are often in good order. On the other hand, if a company has smelly toilets and dirty canteen and dormitory, it shows that the company does not value workers at all. You know, the product is produced by people, a pay no attention to the workers of the enterprise, how can produce good products? Generally speaking, the product stability of such enterprises is questionable.

  Many owners of feed enterprises often do not understand these, to the supplier that will only look at the hardware, hardware, think that the quality of the product must be good. This is not the case, because even good hardware requires people to operate it. If workers work with emotion, how can they produce good products?

  The fourth is to evaluate the raw materials effectively.

  Many feed enterprises believe that their own equipment is not good, unable to effectively assess the raw materials. It is not. The evaluation of raw materials includes sensory evaluation and physicochemical index evaluation. Many materials of poor quality fail to pass sensory evaluation, but are often easily identified when combined with simple laboratory analysis. For example, soybean oil, there is no oxidation deterioration, experienced laboratory personnel taste will know; Whether there is adulteration, sometimes see the color, sometimes with a pot of heat to know, sometimes put in the refrigerator for a period of time to know. The key is for the boss to pay attention. But the reality is that many of the feed enterprise laboratory personnel in the enterprise status is very low, not high treatment, do not get attention, can only do some mechanical laboratory analysis. After the analysis came out, it was put on the shelf. The boss thought up to ask, did not think of when, assay is assay, purchase is purchase. How can an underappreciated person whose boss expects him or her to find a way to evaluate the raw materials?

  Fifth, we should investigate whether it is possible to fabricate.

  The problem of fake raw materials is very serious in our country. For example, mix raw skin with soybean meal. Rice husk and pumpkin seed husk were mixed in rice bran meal. In wheat bran mixed talcum powder, in the production of plasma protein powder mixed with chicken and duck plasma, fish powder mixed with miscellaneous things, and so on. There are no more than three ways to investigate whether raw material suppliers are adulterated. One is to inquire from many sides and establish long-term and stable cooperation with suppliers. Two it is to want regular spot check. Do not say some big business is in use, random check, because of same kind of raw material, the likelihood is big business is confiscated, sent you here. Third, once adulteration is found, the supplier must be severely punished to bring it down. There is much to learn from what the Americans have done. When Americans cooperate with others, their first choice is to believe. I trust you and your products first, but when I find you cheat, I will punish you heavily and make you stink. The recent Volkswagen emissions scandal speaks volumes about this.
